James Park is a graduate student in the Bocarsly Lab focused on studying metal oxide semiconducting materials for photocatalytic CO2 reduction and water-splitting. His main research goal is to utilize solid state synthesis to develop and characterize new photocatalytic materials. During his undergraduate studies at Boston University, James worked under Professor Corey Stephenson learning organic synthetic techniques. James is fluent in English and Korean after having spent his childhood in both the United States and the Republic of Korea.
