Dear Science Educator,
Welcome to our 2019 Chemagination at Princeton competition, which is geared to high school tudents who have taken or are currently taking advanced placement or honors level chemistry.
As you may know, the Chemagination contest was initiated 17 years ago by the American Chemical Society (ACS) as an educational outreach activity. The Princeton ACS local section is again sponsoring a Chemagination Contest, with the endorsement and cooperation of the Trenton ACS local section. We encourage Princeton and Trenton areas’ science teachers to engage their classroom students or science club in a competition which challenges teams of two to three high school science students to imagine inventions using chemistry – alone or in combination with physics, biology or biological chemistry – that may create breakthroughs in their lives.
The poster competition will be at Princeton University, Saturday afternoon, June 8, 2019.
If you and your students are not familiar with this competition, view the Educator Guidelines and Student Guidelines at this website.
Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible to communicate your school’s intent to participate.
Let’s help your students become the innovators of tomorrow!
