2017 National Chemistry Week (NCW) Illustrated Poem Contest – “Chemistry Rocks”
Over 50 poems were entered into the NCW Poem Contest this year in the K-2nd; 3rd-5th and 6th-8th grade categories. The poems were judged based upon relevance to and incorporation of the theme, word choice and imagery, and colorful, creative artwork. It was evident from the quality of the poems and the artwork that the students had learnt a lot about geochemistry during the process of creating their entries.
The Poems were on display at our NCW Activities Night on October 27 and winners announced during the Award Ceremony that evening.
