Students who successfully complete the summer program at Princeton University and meet the requirements are eligible to apply for a second summer’s research at the Institute of Nanobiology and Structural Biology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Nové Hrady, Czech Republic.
Nové Hrady is situated in South Bohemia, close to the city of Ceske Budejovice (Budweis). The Academy is housed in a renovated castle where students live and work.

Students who apply for the Czech Republic part of this program must be:
- enrolled as full-time undergraduate students
- US citizens or permanent residents
- must not yet have completed their senior year prior to their summer in Nové Hrady.
- must have completed a first summer’s research in molecular biophiysics at Princeton
